Welcome
LAMBRUK CO-OPERATIVE LTD
Les Chalets – Falls Creek

Lambruk Co-operative was formed on November 27, 1974. The club consists of 24 Members who each have a share in an on-snow accomodation facility at Falls Creek.

The philosophy behind the establishment of the Club was to enable Members affordable skiing in the form of extremely modest accommodation rates.

About the Accommodation:
Lambruk has shares in a 2 Bedroom flat in the rear building of the Les Chalets Apartment, Slalom Street, Falls Creek. Les Chalets' location is one of the best on the mountain, with it being ski in / ski out for most of the year. The building itself backs on to the popular home trail Wombats Ramble (now with snowmaking), and a quick ski down the road takes you to the Falls Express Quad charlift and newly developed St Falls complex (consisting of ski shops, ski rental and a supermarket). Arriving at the building requires no use of Oversnow transport, as Les Chalets is only a 2 minute walk from the car park.

The bedding configuration in each bedroom consists of a double bed & set of single bunks, with pillows, doonas & bed-linen supplied. There is one bathroom & 2 toilets. There is a drying-cupboard in the foyer of the flat for ski boots & clothing. Lambruk also has its own
ski locker located in the foyer of the building. The flat is large (with a balcony) and consists of a newly developed open–space lounge & kitchen area. The views from the flat are spectacular through to the Kiewa Valley and surrounding mountains.

The flat comfortably accomodates a maximum of 8 people at any one time.

Members Obligations:
Members pay an annual levy, as well as nightly accomodation rates. A general meeting is held once a year in May, and all members are encouraged to attend. Members are required to commit to a Work Party once within a 3-year period or pay a Work Party Levy. The 3-year period in which a Member may fulfil work party obligations is very generous & was set up in this way to accommodate those Members who may be living interstate or overseas.

Lambruk welcomes new Members
, but does encourage all its Members to be active and involved in the running of the Ski Club. Prospective new members are required to meet with Lambruk’s Directors prior to any formal transfer of a Membership. Transfers are processed through the Board with a Share Certificate being issued on the date of the Transfer.

Anyone interested in Membership should contact Shayne Parris or Roch Kennedy for more information. Please email "info (at) lambruk.com.au"
